Satisfy your curiosity by participating in this all levels, two-hour workshop. Inversions tend to evoke varying emotions. Some of which can prevent a person from even attempting the first step toward what appears a difficult if not impossible posture. Challenge your comfort zone and be willing to try something new. Or, if arm balances already exist in your practice, take this workshop as a refresher.
Senior Mindstream Yoga teacher Kristen Lassiter will provide an in depth explanation as well as demonstrate the "layers" of six different arm balances and inversions: Crow, Baby Crow, Supported Headstand, Tripod Headstand, Firefly, and Forearm Stand.
The class will warm up with approximately a 40 minute yoga flow. Afterward be prepared to watch, listen, learn and practice. Wear comfortable clothing, bring water, your mat, and a smile.
